    • Ringkasan
      • The 2018 International Conference on the “Challenges in Environmental Science and Engineering” (CESE-2018) has been conducted in Bangkok, Thailand. This is the 11th international conference in the CESE series. Researchers, policy-makers, academics, students and the broader community active in contributing solutions to the myriad of environmental questions that are posed to ensure sustainability, are welcome to meet in Bangkok to share their knowledge and visions for the future. The conference was including several activities :
        1. Oral and poster presentations, including keynote speakers presentation after the opening ceremony, continue with parallel presentation, which is divided into senior researcher session and junior researcher and student session, and poster presentation in the specific time. Dyah Wulandari presented in oral presentation as a junior researcher.
        2. Writing workshop for students and junior researchers. Two sessions of writing workshop was led by Dr. Eldon R. Rene from UNESCO IHE. This workshop is including introduction of checklist to be completed while writing paper, common mistake, also the experience in writing and submitting paper, and peer-review of the draft written by the members of the workshop.
        3. Technical tour to Lam Pak Bia Royal Initiative Project. The Laem Phak Bia Royal Project is located in Phetchaburi province. H.M. King Bhumibhol Adulyadej initiated the project to treat both wastewater and solid waste through environmentally and ecologically sustainable methods. Furthermore, local people use the area to grow the plants for wastewater filtration and to fish in the regenerated mangrove forest area. The wastewater treated by three methods : 1.Oxidation pond 2.Constructed wetland 3.Mangrove forest which filtrates wastewater from the municipality of Phetchaburi is transferred to the site by a pipeline.

        • Submiting paper from the conference to the Special Issue of Journal of Environmental Management which is recommends by the CESE committee
